Prose, chapbook, 24 pages, from Bottlecap Features.

Loss and foundness. The milieu of city life, with its intersectional cityscapes and condensing solitudes. Intimate movements at a potential infraction, transposed to the otherworldly, where memories seem estranged, and realities become irreal.

Atlands is a hybrid collection of microfiction and prose poetry that shifts through the interior and exterior spaces of daily life. Raul Garcia aims to show urban life imbues a labyrinthine map that assembles and detraces, leading its inhabitants towards fragmentation or synchronicity.

Raul Garcia is a Dominican-American filmmaker and poet from Jersey City, NJ. His written works have appeared in Blink Ink, Bones, Bright Flash Literary Review, Complete Sentence, Friday Flash Fiction, Florilegium, Loud Coffee Press and other publications.
