Poetry, chapbook, 40 pages, from Bottlecap Features.

Life frequently takes us on journeys we never expect. Love is one of those and none can ever tell where its road will take us. Love can bring us to the highest thrills and the deepest despair. We can never tell where it will end.

In this collection of free verse poetry, you can explore the spectrum of emotions love can elicit from us. In some, one explores the joys it can bring. Others reflect on the end of love and the sorrow accompanying it. It also reflects on familial love and the pain it can bring at times as well.

Rachel Duvall was born in California but spent most of her life on the move. She has lived all over the East and West coasts of the United States. The lack of roots led to her turning to reading and writing as an outlet. She has been writing poetry since she was fourteen. Her early poems were scribbled on the back of English quizzes. Her teachers encouraged her to pursue this hobby and she’s been writing poems ever since.
