Poetry, prose poetry, chapbook, 32 pages, from Bottlecap Features.

Postcards From Nowhere is a collection of travel poems I left behind on postcards.

Written over the span of two years in twelve different cities all over the world, this odyssey of a project is a love letter to solo travelers. It includes word-pictures I’ve sketched on trains, awkward small-talk I’ve made with coffee shop strangers, single dad misadventures in airport terminals, attempts to say hello in other languages, deleted IG posts that were too long to be captions, tourist recommendations for points of interest off the map, and the occasional Kerouacian rant after too much solitary time on the road.

It’s my way of searching for home by writing about all the places far from it.

Antino Art writes ad copy to feed his daughter and poetry to feed his spirit. His voice was once featured at the Green Mill Poetry Slam in Chicago, and his words have appeared everywhere from literary zines to billboards and bar menus. Born in South Florida by way of the Philippines and based in Raleigh for now, he once won the Nomad Award at a company party for how often he leaves town on a whim. For more, AntinoArt.com
