Cutie Nunchucks, name referencing one of the author’s pet names for their fiance, is a peek into one person’s sentiments for a loved one, good and bad, from September until a few months later in January during their engagement period.
A personal project, this was meant to set into stone the author’s feelings and thoughts throughout this time as a memorial - and to encapsulate it while looking forward to the future, during which more poems about this subject will certainly be written.
One may call them a fool for love, but they think they found it. Adams insists that “love is everywhere” if you only look around, and where you can’t find it - embrace that, too. Twenty-six and smiling, for the record.
