Poetry, chapbook, 20 pages, from Bottlecap Features.
This isn’t a poetry collection—it’s a flare. And this flare is made of words and symbols, hidden messages, that I know my “real family” will understand. I wrote this chapbook for myself and everyone else out there trying to get back to a sense of home. A sense of belonging, place, and rest.
At a time of so much disconnection and anger at The State of the World, many of us are crying for home. I have been looking for my true family for a long time. I’ve found a few over the years, but I know there are more. Are you one of them?
