An urgency runs through these poems which reminds us of the mystery in even the most ordinary and everyday object or occurrence.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp align=\"justify\"\u003eMelanie DuBose lives in Los Angeles. Her work has appeared in numerous journals, including \u003cem\u003eNixes Mate\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eGyroscope Review\u003c\/em\u003e, and \u003cem\u003eContemporary Haibun\u003c\/em\u003e, among others. A graduate of the UCLA film school, she advocates for equity in arts education.
