A party that must continue because we’ve been locked out and no one can find the keys.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp align=\"justify\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eWaiting Rooms\u003c\/em\u003e’ language expands and contracts. From the contemplative awe of words in isolation to yearning yet humorous narratives of self-making, Marta draws parallelisms between existing across two languages and the impossible but necessary task of translating experience into memory. More importantly, \u003cem\u003eWaiting Rooms\u003c\/em\u003e is a celebration of friendship and its ability to simultaneously dilate time and create a referential continuity that allows us to unravel against all odds.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp align=\"justify\"\u003eMarta Núñez Pouzols is a writer and translator from Andalusia, Spain. She lives in Durham, North Carolina. She co-authored the bilingual collection of poems \u003cem\u003ePronombres siderales\/Starry Selves\u003c\/em\u003e (Turba, 2019).
