Rotted Dock, Sketched in Passing contains nine poems written on a tugboat weatherbound in Bolivar. Peace, contemplation, and awful dread swirl together in this collection of thoughts thrown from a spinning world. Stuck in memories and stuck away from home long past scheduled crew change, these reminiscences capture animal life and industrial sprawl from Texas to Louisiana in a country adrift.
