Poetry, chapbook, 48 pages, from Bottlecap Features.
Book of Dreams narrates a challenging and complex journey reflecting on intense experiences with love, loss, anxiety, and depression. Hurtling breathlessly through thirty six dreamlike poems, we race towards catharsis with the ultimate goal of finding self-acceptance and the belief that things truly can get better.
Arran James Grant uses vivid and unique imagery which takes the reader down a surreal and emotional path. Revealing an ongoing and ruthless fight with anxiety and depression, as well as his battles with his self-destructive nature, he confesses the deepest and darkest parts of his soul. As the reader gradually progresses through the poems they will feel like they, along with the author, can finally win.
