Prose, chapbook, 28 pages, from Bottlecap Features.

Showdowns at the yard sale. Otherworldly appetites. Sacrificial feedings. Mistaken identities. Looks that could kill—literally. Blending prose poetry and short fiction, A Brief Study in Oneirology reads like a waking fever dream, digging around in the soft, gray bits of your brain and rearranging the neural furniture.

At turns chaotic and untethered, yet tender and sentimental, this short collection seeks common ground with the unconscious and breaks bread with bedtime monsters. Best read in the early hours, ideally in full REM sleep.

Get comfortable. It’s going to be a long night.
