The Poetry of Things: poems for the tough & tender moments of life is a collection that makes us appreciate the magic in the mundane and the extraordinary in the everyday.

The Poetry of Things is for those who had their hearts broken, the mamas who are tired and unsteady, and the parents who are afraid they're doing it all wrong. It's for those trying to find their footing in situations they never imagined they'd find themselves in. It's for the hopeless romantics, the optimists, and everyone who lays awake with worry at 3 o'clock in the morning. It's for those who still have dreams and expectations and remember what it's like to wish on a shooting star. It's for those who have taken a great fall and need help getting back up. It's for you. It's for me. It's for us.

The Poetry of Things: poems for the tough & tender moments of life is a collection of work that reminds us of what it means to be alive - the wonder and the miracle and finding the beauty in the messy middle. It's for everyone who needs to feel seen and heard. It's a reminder that you are not alone.
