Poetry, chapbook, 32 pages, from Bottlecap Features.

In To Catch Flights, Catch Feelings, we eat anticipation for breakfast, adventure for lunch, and goodbyes for dinner.

Between the shores once called home and the deserts of the mind, why does it feel so much like living, 40,000 feet in the air, trying to escape gravity? This collection explores the delicate balance between movement and stillness, the impermanence of place, and the fluidity of time.

What does it mean to belong somewhere? Is it a where, a who, or a what, we all search for a purpose—but maybe it isn’t something that can be found. To Catch Flights, Catch Feelings is a love letter to wanderlust for anyone whose aching nostalgia is a reminder that true purpose is to be discovered in the journey itself. Drawing inspiration from diverse cultures and landscapes, these poems capture the depths of human emotions and the universal search for meaning in a transient world.

Elina Rindle is a poet originally from Germany, now based in Austin, TX.
