Shipping Details

Bottlecap Press is a micro zine press. Please adjust your timeline expectations accordingly. Our books and chapbooks are handmade with love. We always promise to do our best with our minimal resources, but it's important to understand that printing is the most difficult and time-consuming part of what we do, and that slow speed is part of the nature of small press publishing. Most orders take at least a couple weeks to ship, longer for large orders, and sometimes longer during busy times of the year. We do our best to ship as quickly as possible, but small orders should not be considered late until they are at least six weeks old, and large orders (ten or more copies) should not be considered late until they are at least twelve weeks old.

5/15/2026 UPDATE: We're finished up with all small orders (1-10 copies) through about May 1st, so if you're waiting on a small order from before that, you should expect it shortly. Larger orders are caught up right now to about mid-March, and we're planning a large phase week to finish those orders up over this next week or two. We made significant upgrades to our printing equipment to speed up the process during the holiday print run, which will have a major impact long-term on processing times. New small orders should be expected to ship within two-to-three weeks. New larger orders should expect three-to-four weeks right now. If you've got a larger order placed in the last few months and you're still waiting, no reason to worry, that is normal -- our products are handmade, and we've always got a large print queue, which we are clearing out as fast as we can. We expect faster shipping times (2-3 weeks) to be in effect across the board soon.

Unfortunately, we aren't able to provide tracking numbers on individual copy orders since our chapbooks typically ship as regular mail. All orders of more than one book or chapbook receive a tracking number when the product ships.

Bottlecap Press no longer ships outside the US due to the cost of international shipping. Digital copies of our books and chapbooks are available worldwide.
