Shipping Details

Bottlecap Press is a micro zine press. Please adjust your timeline expectations accordingly. Our books and chapbooks are handmade with love. We always promise to do our best with our minimal resources, but it's important to understand that printing is the most difficult and time-consuming part of what we do, and that slow speed is part of the nature of small press publishing. Most orders take at least a couple weeks to ship, longer for large orders, and sometimes longer during busy times of the year. We do our best to ship as quickly as possible, but small orders should not be considered late until they are at least six weeks old, and large orders (ten or more copies) should not be considered late until they are at least twelve weeks old.

2/5/2026 UPDATE: We recently got through our large holiday season print queue, which was a big undertaking and we're very proud of that. There are only a few large orders from late December left and we've mostly moved on to clearing out small orders from January (and a few from the very end of December). We made significant upgrades to our printing equipment to speed up the process during this holiday print run, which will have a major impact long-term on processing times. As soon as we're finished with the current print queue, we expect it to be possible to start shipping all orders within two-to-three weeks, though we aren't quite there yet, so if you've been waiting for four or five weeks on an order, no reason to worry, that is normal -- our products are handmade and we're just barely past the busiest time of the year. Faster shipping times should be in full effect by the end of February.

NOTE: We believe we've accidentally sent out duplicates of a few orders in this month's print run. If you received two copies of a chapbook that you only ordered one copy of, congratulations, share it with with a friend, there is nothing more that you need to do.

If you've been waiting on an order for longer than these expected timelines, feel free to use our Replace Order Page, and we'll get out a replacement as soon as we can.

Unfortunately, we aren't able to provide tracking numbers on individual copy orders since our chapbooks typically ship as regular mail. All orders of more than one book or chapbook receive a tracking number when the product ships.

Bottlecap Press no longer ships outside the US and Canada due to the cost of international shipping. Digital copies of our books and chapbooks are available worldwide.
