Girl Failure is a mix of raw, honest moments; personal feelings that bleed from the mind and through shaking fingers. Feeling so maddeningly in love it feels like a punishment. Wishing to never have been born but getting out of bed anyway. Contemplating what it means to lose yourself and lose friendships. Knowing you have so much potential, but never having the passion to pursue it.
These poems hold a sense of self-awareness, longing, and an ironic zest for life while discussing themes of loss and the strive to keep going. They express words that are hard to say out loud. Each one came from a very personal place, and perhaps can cling just as easily to others with their content.
