Poetry, chapbook, 36 pages, from Bottlecap Features.

Holler investigates the relationship between motherhood and loss while exploring the unknowable landscape of home. Grounded in the disappearance of a young girl from a quiet, rural community, the poems explore the connection between identity and the land and people and their past.

Questioning what it means to belong to a place, to a person, or to a past life, Holler encapsulates the tension between body and mind leaving us to question how much of our physical selves remember our origins, and how much are we willing to bury when it dies.

Megan Krupa is the author of the poetry chapbook, Heirloom. A 2025 representative of the Women of Appalachia Project, her poetry has appeared in BOAAT, Driftwood Press, Broad River Review, and is forthcoming in the Anthology of Appalachian Writers. She is an Assistant Professor at East Tennessee State University; she lives and writes in Northeastern Tennessee.
