Poetry, chapbook, 24 pages, from Bottlecap Features.
The poems in Rooms for Love play on the notion that the Italian word “stanza” translates to “room” in English. Each of these poems is a stanza. Each of these poems is a room. Every room has the capacity to foster and cradle love.
The poems are welcoming, playful, intimate and curious. We travel from poem to poem, from room to room—from the mysteries of the womb, through a decadent kitchen and a potent forest glen, to the peaceful sanctuaries of the divine. Along the way, we glimpse the sorrows and joys, disappointments and delights that are love’s complexities, in all its forms, in every space.
