Ryan has a new girlfriend named Ruby. He also has Jillian, a girl he’s known since elementary school. Jillian is about to totally steal Ruby from Ryan! But not in a romantic or sexual way! Ruby and Jillian are best friends now, and Ryan has no choice but to accept this new reality, bwahahaha!
He accepts it. He embraces it. Hilarity ensues. Tragedy also ensues. Godot makes no appearance. Such is life.
Alaina Hammond is a poet, playwright, fiction writer, and visual artist. Her poems, plays, short stories, philosophical essays, creative non-fiction, paintings, drawings and photographs have been published both online and in print.
