I have had the privilege of living more than half of my life outside of the United States. I grew up in the country of Hungary as a Third Culture Kid (my parents were missionaries), and I spent twenty years as an adult working in Eastern Europe and East Asia as a teacher.
I have turned some of my experiences into a series of essays. These essays involve cultural connections, encounters with neighbors, mistaken identities, recovery, and a general sense of the world being smaller than we often think.
