LUCID is a memoir about navigating an emerging adulthood. It is about Stephen Nguyen regularly experiencing sleep deprivation, constantly moving, and sustaining an income. With reflection and perspective, he curates a series of sequential had dreams/nightmares.

LUCID is an honest, noisily-aware book of occurrences, experiences, and observations. Telling through the lens of silence, darkness, and the sense of being surveilled, Nguyen's recorded entries prove hardships are only temporary.

Stephen M. Nguyen lives in Southern California. He graduated from Woodbury University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior architecture. He currently works at an international design firm. His hobbies include making cocktails, detailing his roadster while fighting the sunrise, and focusing on the happiness life offers.
