Poetry, prose, chapbook, 20 pages, from Bottlecap Features.
She was always told to dream big... so she does... in her sleep. Since Sasha was a kid, she always had vivid dreams leaving her to question a lot about her waking life. They say writing down your dreams the moment you wake up makes them easier to remember. So, Sasha started with a dream journal. They later inspired her to turn them into prose and poems. She feels it’s the only way people can understand her.
This manuscript is about the dreams Sasha had throughout 2025 into 2026. They vary from pages of prose to short poems. The most ongoing theme is animals. However, past loves and losses are featured as well. Some are crazy, emotional, scary, disgusting, disturbing, or have no explanation... and maybe you’re in one of them.
