Poetry, prose, chapbook, 32 pages, from Bottlecap Features.

A Portrait of Brotherhood as Two Boys from Space is the second multi-genre chapbook by Stephen Yuffrida Brown. An irreverent blend of colorful imagery and allegory, the works explore themes of togetherness in otherness, as well as familial connection and dysfunction at the end of the world. And how, sometimes, the dissolution of family can be the end of the world.

Stephen Yuffrida Brown (he/him) is a writer-activist with a Philly attitude and an academic background in LGBT+ studies. He is currently pursuing his MFA in the halls of Rathalla, a decadent Gilded Age castle just off the Philadelphia Main Line. In his professional life, Stephen is dedicated to the belief that art shapes ideology and that education is crucial for achieving social justice and social mobility. His fiction and poetry have appeared in Metachrosis, Boats Against the Current, The Queer Gaze, Fruitslice, and others. Stephen's debut chapbook, His Boyfriend Materials, is also available from Bottlecap Press.
