Poetry, chapbook, 28 pages, from Bottlecap Features.

The fairytales we hear growing up often involve beautiful gowns and handsome love interests. But what happens when those dreams become nightmares, when women’s rights are restricted?

Fairytales is a retelling of the stories women have been told - and an exploration of how powerful women can be in the midst of societal turmoil.

Delivered in free verse, experimental poetry, this collection tackles issues of misogyny, and problematic relationships. Above all, Fairytales seeks to subvert fantasy and explore the truly needed voice of women today.
