Poetry, chapbook, 20 pages, from Bottlecap Features.
Written amidst a changed world coming out of the pandemic and under major life changes, the poems of where I cannot hide trace the ups and downs life can face, coupled together with the agony and ecstasy of the life we choose to share with others and the life we keep hidden within ourselves. The emotions and evocations formed through these myriad challenges and experiences constructs the foundation of this chapbook.
Coming to form out of both personal experience and secondary observation, this short poetic collection of free verse also charts the roller coaster passage of love found and love lost, of the terrifying wonder of self-revelation and inner reflection, and of the pain of foregone chances and personal inaction in the face of hardship. At its heart, where I cannot hide is a quiet and reverential observation into the process of finding ones way through life, with both the triumphs and missteps along the way laid bare.
