Hunger is a spoken-word-work-meets-play from the mind of Lucy Rattner. Hunger is a dialogue between a woman and all of the voices she must listen to in this world: her mother, her sister, her friends, society, her mind, etc.

When a woman finds herself alone and without love, she explores what it means to long, to desire, and ultimately, to want. The conversations within Hunger will feel relatable to anyone with dreams and desires.

Lucy Rattner is a 20-year-old poet from Rockland, New York. She adores the sublime, the surreal, and the sentimental. Her work has appeared in Midsummer Magazine, Scribere, and Pinky Thinker Press, and has been featured on the Viewless Wings podcast. She has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
