Puncture Wounds is a short collection of poems inspired by the original Charmed series that aired from 1998 to 2006, referencing episodes such as “Pardon My Past”, “All Hell Breaks Loose”, and others. Through free verse, paragraph, and spell poems, the speaker investigates the self.

Examining it through Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, the collection spans from the speaker’s childhood to adulthood. The poems explore sisterhood and the strength of togetherness from the perspective of Dissociative Identity Disorder. Puncture Wounds has tertiary themes of gender, sexuality, identity, and trauma.
