Sandcastle is a collection of 30 poems and prose poetry pieces detailing the fictional experience of a queer writer grappling with life on her own while spending a month in a writer’s residency at the Provincetown Sand Dunes.

CARLIN STEERE is a personal essayist and poet from Connecticut. She divides her time between the New England shoreline and Tampa, Florida.

Steere is the Interviews & “Fanmail” Editor for Sweet: A Literary Confection and a Graduate Assistant for the University of South Florida during her MFA candidacy in Nonfiction Creative Writing.

Her work has been published in Yale News, Kenyon College, Sweet: A Literary Confection, and the Exeter Cathedral Green Words Poetry Anthology, among other publications.
