Poetry, chapbook, 48 pages, from Bottlecap Features.

Sun is a wanderer, her daydreaming thoughts forever consumed by love, music, and sometimes death. snow is the opposite: grounded, sensible—and at times, even chained. Sun wants to set snow free and brighten the world around them both, but snow is resistant; unyielding. Sun looks up at the sky and sees the wonders of the universe—and snow does the same and sees nothing but chaos ensued.

SEASONS tells the story of these two young lovers-to-be, Sun and snow, trying to learn to live with themselves—despite their struggles with mental health—and to love each other—despite their fears of being loved. This collection takes the form of a call-and-response between each person, with one speaking in dialogic prose (snow) and the other speaking in poetic verse (Sun). The storyline that we witness spans the first three seasons of snow and Sun’s friendship-turned-relationship, with each supporting the other through their darkest moments while navigating their increasingly complex and romantic feelings.
