we’re all mad here is a personal lens into the darkest places your mind can take you and the struggle of battling your own demons. In this empowering collection of poetry, moments of indecisive feelings, irrational thoughts, and manic episodes are recreated to show the reader no matter the struggles being faced, there is hope for healing, personal transformation, positive change and growth. The raw and open nature of the poetry allows for a personal reflection and relationship with the author and provides a glimpse of what’s underneath the surface that most people battle in silence, yet we all relate to, even if alone in our own thoughts.

Miranda Holman is an Arkansas native who fell in love with poetry as a way to cope with life’s struggles. Her writing explores and shares stories of taboo issues, while finding glimpses of light in the world to help people overcome life’s adversities and heal from old wounds. Miranda double majored in English and Creative Writing for her undergraduate degrees and Communications and English for her graduate degrees, before pursuing her doctorate in English Literature. When she isn’t busy writing, she can be found in libraries and bookstores browsing books, reading cozy mysteries, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Her previous collection, Unapologetically Raw: The Darkness Inside Her, was released in fall 2023.
