Poetry, chapbook, 20 pages, from Bottlecap Features.

Set on the edge of winter, the season and time of life, winter’s gifts is about being open to the unexpected and its consequences, its gifts or “gifts.”

Getting planters ready for winter leads into a narrative of unexpected love and its loss, coming full circle with the poet looking into the future questioning whether she can still be open, “still choose to live/ on yes’s hard edge/ how dearly it costs/ whatever it brings”; or not.

Rosetta Radtke lives in Savannah, Georgia. Her poems have been published in a variety of online and print journals including Poetry Now, Blue Pitcher, Off Main Street, Passages North, Pembroke Magazine, The Staten Island Review, Wind, and Persimmon Tree.
